Our mission, simply put, is to reform the church, again, and completely. We believe this can only be done, one heart at a time. Since the "church" is a people, and NOT a building or human organization, true reformation and revival of Christ's bride cannot be achieved by a "top down" method. Many movements have attempted restoration of the church this way, changing the outward form/structure of the church, but have only succeeded in creating another denomination/division in Christs body. Many of these groups start well, and yet become just another flavor of division and opinion that eventually makes a mockery of Christianity.
Jesus told the Pharisees that they should clean the inside of the cup, and the outside will take care of itself. This is our approach to reformation.
We do not seek to start anything new or destroy what God is currently doing in the world, but rather, we want to simply rediscover the old paths of the "narrow way" which is "the way of holiness"(Isaiah 35:8), to "strengthen the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees", and "say to them that are of a fearful heart, be strong, fear not"(Isaiah 35:4). To strip away every pretense and practice that detracts and distracts God's people from the Way of Christ and His church, established by Jesus and the apostles.
With this goal in mind, we seek to warn, correct, teach, encourage, strengthen, and motivate all who call themselves "Christian" to;
be true disciples of Jesus Christ - John 8:31
walk as He walked - 1 John 2:6
live like they belong to Him - 1 Corinthians 6:20
be led by the Spirit - Romans 8:14
abide (remain/continue to live) in Him - 1 John 2:28
walk worthy of their calling - Ephesians 4:1, Colossians 1:10, 1 Thessalonians 2:12
To not only call Him Lord, but to prove He alone is Lord and Master; bearing fruit worthy of repentance (Luk 3:8), and having the fruit of the Spirit (Gal 5:22), being obedient to the gospel (2Th 1:8) , working out their salvation with fear and trembling (Php 2:12), and making their calling and election sure (2Pe 1:10).
(Luke 6:46) And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
1 John 2:6 - He that says he abides in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
1 John 2:28 - And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming
